Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 August 2026

This policy explains what personal information we collect on demostage.io, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the notification duty under section 11 of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, as amended by Amendment 13.

The short version. This is a marketing site. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read - nothing else. We run no advertising or remarketing tags, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent anyone's data. If you decline analytics in the cookie bar, the whole site still works exactly the same.

1. Who we are

The controller of the information described here is:

Write to that address for anything in this policy - access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint. There is no separate form to fill in.

2. What we collect

Usage information, through Google Analytics

When you visit the site, Google Analytics 4 records technical and behavioural information about the visit: the pages you view and how long you stay, the site or search that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address (city or region level - Google Analytics 4 does not store the full IP address), and your device, browser, operating system and screen size. A randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie lets Google recognise a returning browser.

We see this as aggregate reports. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it, and we do not combine it with anything else.

Whatever you choose to send us

Every "book a call" button on this site opens your own email program with a message addressed to us. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in your own email program, and we receive only what you write - typically your name, your email address, your company and what you want to discuss. There is no form on this site, so no field is ever submitted in the background.

Your cookie choice

If you accept or decline in the cookie bar, we store that choice in your browser so we do not ask again on every page. Details in section 6.

3. Why we collect it, and on what basis

We rely on your consent, given either by continuing to browse after the cookie notice is shown or by writing to us. We do not use any of this for advertising, remarketing, audience building, automated profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

4. Providing information is voluntary - and what happens if you decline

You are under no legal obligation to give us any information. Everything here depends on your consent alone.

5. Who else receives the information

RecipientWhat they receiveWhy
Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC The usage information in section 2, as the operator of Google Analytics To provide the measurement service and produce our reports
Our email and hosting providers Messages you send us; server logs of requests to the site To deliver our email and to run and secure the website

These providers process data on servers outside Israel, including in the European Union and the United States. We do not transfer personal information to anyone else, and we do not share it with other clients or partners. We may disclose information if we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

6. Cookies and similar storage

NameSet byPurposeKept for
_ga Google Analytics Distinguishes one browser from another so repeat visits are not double-counted 2 years
_ga_GDM8B3KW3R Google Analytics Holds the state of the current visit 2 years
ds_cookie_consent Us (browser local storage, not a cookie sent to any server) Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we stop asking. Strictly necessary - without it we cannot honour a refusal 12 months

Declining sets Google's official opt-out flag in your browser before the Analytics tag loads, so no measurement is sent at all, and it deletes any _ga cookies already stored. We ask again after twelve months, or sooner if we make a material change to how we use the information.

You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the home page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Google explains its own handling at policies.google.com/privacy.

7. Your rights

Send any of these to info@demostage.io. We will respond within the periods set by the Law, and in any event without undue delay. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (gov.il).

8. How long we keep it

9. Security

We apply the security measures required of us under the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017: access to correspondence is limited to the people who need it, the site is served over HTTPS, and we work only with providers who maintain recognised security standards. No system is perfectly secure, but if a security incident affects your information we will act on it and notify as the Law requires.

10. Children

This site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.

11. Changes to this policy

If we change how we use personal information in a material way, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and ask for your cookie choice again. It is worth checking back occasionally.
