Privacy Policy
Last updated: 4 August 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect on demostage.io, why we collect it, who else sees it, and what you can do about it. It is written to meet the notification duty under section 11 of the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981, as amended by Amendment 13.
The short version. This is a marketing site. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read - nothing else. We run no advertising or remarketing tags, we do not build profiles, and we do not sell or rent anyone's data. If you decline analytics in the cookie bar, the whole site still works exactly the same.
1. Who we are
The controller of the information described here is:
- Demo Stage Ltd.
- Israeli company number 517380200
- Herzliya, Israel
- Contact for any privacy matter: info@demostage.io
Write to that address for anything in this policy - access, correction, deletion, withdrawal of consent, or a complaint. There is no separate form to fill in.
2. What we collect
Usage information, through Google Analytics
When you visit the site, Google Analytics 4 records technical and behavioural information about the visit: the pages you view and how long you stay, the site or search that referred you, your approximate location derived from your IP address (city or region level - Google Analytics 4 does not store the full IP address), and your device, browser, operating system and screen size. A randomly generated identifier stored in a cookie lets Google recognise a returning browser.
We see this as aggregate reports. We do not attempt to identify individual visitors from it, and we do not combine it with anything else.
Whatever you choose to send us
Every "book a call" button on this site opens your own email program with a message addressed to us. Nothing is transmitted until you press send in your own email program, and we receive only what you write - typically your name, your email address, your company and what you want to discuss. There is no form on this site, so no field is ever submitted in the background.
Your cookie choice
If you accept or decline in the cookie bar, we store that choice in your browser so we do not ask again on every page. Details in section 6.
3. Why we collect it, and on what basis
- Usage information - to understand how the site is used and to improve it: which sections people read, where they leave, whether a change helped.
- Your email - to reply to you, to arrange and hold the call you asked for, and to keep a record of our correspondence.
- Your cookie choice - to honour it.
We rely on your consent, given either by continuing to browse after the cookie notice is shown or by writing to us. We do not use any of this for advertising, remarketing, audience building, automated profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
4. Providing information is voluntary - and what happens if you decline
You are under no legal obligation to give us any information. Everything here depends on your consent alone.
- If you decline analytics, Google Analytics is switched off in your browser and no measurement data is sent. Every page, video and link on the site keeps working exactly as before. Nothing is withheld from you.
- If you never contact us, we hold nothing about you beyond the anonymous usage statistics above. The only consequence is that we have no way to answer a question or arrange a call you have not asked for.
5. Who else receives the information
| Recipient | What they receive | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC | The usage information in section 2, as the operator of Google Analytics | To provide the measurement service and produce our reports |
| Our email and hosting providers | Messages you send us; server logs of requests to the site | To deliver our email and to run and secure the website |
These providers process data on servers outside Israel, including in the European Union and the United States. We do not transfer personal information to anyone else, and we do not share it with other clients or partners. We may disclose information if we are legally required to do so, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. Cookies and similar storage
| Name | Set by | Purpose | Kept for |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Analytics | Distinguishes one browser from another so repeat visits are not double-counted | 2 years |
_ga_GDM8B3KW3R |
Google Analytics | Holds the state of the current visit | 2 years |
ds_cookie_consent |
Us (browser local storage, not a cookie sent to any server) | Remembers whether you accepted or declined, so we stop asking. Strictly necessary - without it we cannot honour a refusal | 12 months |
Declining sets Google's official opt-out flag in your browser before the Analytics
tag loads, so no measurement is sent at all, and it deletes any _ga cookies
already stored. We ask again after twelve months, or sooner if we make a material change
to how we use the information.
You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie settings link at the bottom of the home page. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google's Analytics opt-out add-on. Google explains its own handling at policies.google.com/privacy.
7. Your rights
- Access (section 13 of the Law) - you may ask what information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
- Correction (section 14) - if what we hold is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date, you may ask us to correct it, and we will.
- Deletion - you may ask us to delete your correspondence and details, and we will unless we are required to keep them to defend a legal claim.
- Withdrawal of consent - at any time, with no explanation needed. Use the Cookie settings link for analytics, or email us for anything else. Withdrawal applies going forward; it does not undo processing already carried out.
Send any of these to info@demostage.io. We will respond within the periods set by the Law, and in any event without undue delay. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (gov.il).
8. How long we keep it
- Google Analytics reporting data: retained by Google under our account settings, then deleted automatically.
- Email correspondence: kept while there is an active or prospective business relationship, and deleted or anonymised afterwards unless we need it for accounting or legal reasons.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months, or until you clear it.
9. Security
We apply the security measures required of us under the Privacy Protection (Data Security) Regulations, 5777-2017: access to correspondence is limited to the people who need it, the site is served over HTTPS, and we work only with providers who maintain recognised security standards. No system is perfectly secure, but if a security incident affects your information we will act on it and notify as the Law requires.
10. Children
This site is aimed at businesses. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information about them.
11. Changes to this policy
If we change how we use personal information in a material way, we will update this page, change the date at the top, and ask for your cookie choice again. It is worth checking back occasionally.
