Accessibility Statement
Last updated: 4 August 2026
DemoStage is committed to making demostage.io usable by as many people as possible, including people with disabilities. This statement describes what we have done, where we know we fall short, and how to reach us if something on the site does not work for you.
Standard we work to
We aim to conform to Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA, which adopts the W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0, as required by regulation 35 of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.
What we have done
- The site can be operated entirely by keyboard. Every link, button and control is reachable by Tab in a logical order and activated with Enter or Space, and the element in focus is always clearly outlined.
- Pages use correct semantic structure - real headings in order, real buttons and links, landmark regions - so screen readers can navigate them.
- Text and interface colours were chosen to meet the AA contrast ratios, and the cookie notice presents both of its choices with equal visual weight.
- Layouts reflow without horizontal scrolling down to small phone widths and at 200% browser zoom. Text can be enlarged with the browser's own zoom.
- Decorative graphics are hidden from screen readers so they do not add noise; meaningful graphics carry a text label.
- Animation, including the moving background on the home page, is automatically stopped for visitors whose system is set to "reduce motion".
- The cookie notice does not trap keyboard focus, can be dismissed, and never permanently covers page content.
Known limitations
We would rather tell you plainly where the site is not yet fully accessible:
- The background video on the home page is decorative and carries no information or sound, so it has no captions or audio description. Everything it illustrates is stated in the surrounding text.
- The interactive simulator that we present during demonstrations is a visual, real-time product. It is not part of this website and is not currently accessible to the same standard. If you would like a demonstration in an accessible format, contact us and we will arrange one, including a narrated walkthrough.
- Documents or third-party content we occasionally link to may not meet the same standard, as they are outside our control.
We treat these as work in progress and review the site periodically.
Accessibility arrangements at our offices
We do not operate a public service branch that receives visitors. Meetings take place at our clients' premises or by video call; if you need a particular accommodation for a meeting, tell us in advance and we will arrange it.
Found a problem? Tell us
If you came across a page, control or piece of content on this site that you could not use, we want to hear about it - please tell us what you were trying to do, which page it was on, and what technology you were using. We will look into it and get back to you.
